Serious story here, 1 in 4 teenage girls has been found to have an STD, totaling more than 3 million young women. 50% of the teens with @ least one STD is black. This statistic is staggering, but is it really a surprise? With all of the pressure to have sex, or at least be sexy, it has to be hard to be a teenage girl these days. The videos, magazines, and commercials all promote teenage sex like it’s the right thing to do. Parents, talk to your teenagers about sex. It may be hard, but it’s harder to take them to the doctor and find out they have an STD, maybe an incurable one. And to all my beautiful young ladies, don’t ever feel like you have to give away a part of yourself to someone who at your age, probably doesn’t value or respect you the way they should. Think about the decisions you make…

As I read these stat’s on teenage girls, and watch these commercials on the boob tube, and listen to the news, I have to ask this question- if all these young girls have an STD, then what do the young boys & men have . An STD has to be sexually transmitted correct ? Which carries me to another question? Why is it when these pharmaceutical companies come up with yet another new vaccination it always seems to line up right in with the stat’s of the week ???? Black parents are lining up to give their daughters this so called HPV vaccination by the 6th grade !!! What are they really giving our daughters ?? Sorry, but I am not a fan of believing everything I read or hear from this government of ours, I don’t trust them. They had weapons of mass destruction right ?? mmmmmmmm………………I think we need to stop, and think about things that are told to us before we spread the news.
